Stephen J. Cannell passed away at his home in Pasadena on Thursday evening due to complications associated with melanoma.

I may have to dig out my 21 Jump Street jacket, even the Stingray one. He was one of the best men I ever worked for.

This is just like him - you never heard a word anything was wrong. We were just tweeting at each other last week.
