kyburg | Lazy, lazy Saturday...

Jim at work. Mom's coming over in the morning before she goes home. Me, I'm doing laundry.

That lasted all of two hours after I got up.

Jim's on the way home, and Mom stayed until after morning was done. So hungry I could eat the shirt off my own back.

But...I had stuff for Mom that she liked, we had a nice chat.

So there.

Did we discuss her? Only to impart what little she knew - and my Mom is very concerned. Whatever I think, this is one of her kids and I respected that. I was good. I was very good and didn't rip it open. Stupid brunette. Yeah, they come that shade, and lemme tell ya - there's only one thing stupider than a dumb blonde....

Well, I'm going to maintain that no contact is good contact unless she initiates it, so that is that for now. When people don't even want to take a phone call, you can't tell them about the sword dangling over their heads.

But I have Jim all to myself all day long! *happy bounce*

What did we do? We ate. At Spaghetti Factory. Then came home. Napped...and stuff. *grin*

Then got up. Read manga in parallel. Watched anime. Snacked. I think we're going to go to Sam's Club, then go eat something very tasty for dinner.

He's discovered Char Si Bo - poor midwestern honky boy. I think we have a jones forming here.

And if I don't sit down to a well-deserved writing session tonight, I don't have a laptop.
