kyburgI told you the boss joined the office of emergency services, didn't I? Strictly volunteer, ham radio communications backup in case of disaster. But it's managed by the police and fire departments of the municipality where you live as well as the State of California - so in this case, he becomes an adjunct to the Fire Department of Los Angeles. And he got his shirt and ballcap today. He was wearing khaki pants, shirt and so forth the other week - looked like Smokey the freaking Bear. Said as much.
However, the t-shirt and ballcap are all Boss, if you know him.
Also, he tells me that we're going to have a tsunami on the 16th. Well, not the real thing. We're going to see the first-ever test of the tsunami warning system in Los Angeles.
At 11:00 AM.
