kyburgCleaning the kitchen tonight, a finger on my right hand slipped under one of the appliances on the counter and sliced the fingertip open and jammed the sharp edge under the nail.
Fucking ow, man, FUCKING OW.
Then the bugger won't stop bleeding. Right. I have two sinks full of water, doing dishes - run to the bathroom and try to find where the bleeding is coming from. Get that under control with a pressure point, but now both hands are wet and I've got both hands tied up getting the bleeding under control. Great.
Wait wait wait wait wait. Okay, I can take the pressure off. Hurts like a summa, but I can fiddle around, find the antibiotic ointment, the 2x2s, tape and after drying the hands off, dress the finger.
Ow. Call Jim, tell him I'm back from the market and that I've cut my hand open and it hurts. A lot. Ow.
Get the dishes done. Yeah, without b0rking the dressing. Find edibles. Come to computer and try to work it. Ow.
But, as you can see, I'm coping.
