kyburgRecently, here in Seattle, a member of our local community experienced a tragedy. While sleeping at home her house was set on fire. Her boyfriend, Terry, woke up and ran out the front door to grab the hose to put out the fire. As he did he was shot and killed by her estranged husband who had hidden himself sniper-style in the woods across the street. Karen escaped out a side window and ran for help. The ex husband fired on firefighters and police to prevent them from fighting the fire or giving any aid and the house and its contents were lost.
Oh, it gets better.
Her estranged husband is currently in custody and has pled guilty to the arson charge against him. He will also stand trial for two counts of murder 1 charges. Those being for Terry and the Police K9 that was shot and killed on the scene.
He killed the dog. There are no words.
Of course I'm down for shoes. The email has already been sent.
