Y'all got vivid imaginations.

Nothing more interesting than not having the network up at home yet. Network connectivity in, paid for (ouch) and wired throughout the house. When the phone rings, you know it. It's a chorus.

However. Three of the wall jacks have no faceplates (lame!) and I haven't gotten a machine installed with a network card yet.

So today, I go to Fry's, hopefully for the elusive faceplates and some cables - install one network card in an existing machine without freaking Windows completely out and get a machine up tonight.

In the meantime, the kitchen appliances are in, but away from the walls pending the installation of the last of the baseboards and touch ups. Which means we moved in Saturday and I have yet to unpack the kitchen and get any order in there.

Shoot, ditto that throughout the house. The bathroom isn't useable due to a leak they found in the wall before painting and flooring went in last week. THAT'S being fixed today. What have we been doing? Going out to the non-permitted bathroom in the guest house and living la vida loca! In the dark! With Maglites!

Still wondering where some stuff is going to go. Know I need to get rid of 20% of my wardrobe. Yes, folks - Jim has one very big difference from Cliff in that his wardrobe is at least twice as big. And wants it to expand further. So three dresser drawers won't be enough anymore - I'll have to given up at least two of the 8 I have already. The closets are smaller here (I've pressed the wardrobe I bought from IKEA into front closet duty as one doesn't exist) - and there are still electric issues waiting for Cedric to come back and finalize.

But we're in. The cat came home yesterday. We clipped her claws this morning - I think she'll forgive us.

I've got dinner duty tonight. I think I'll bake some cookies.
