I know, I know. I hated it growing up - but there's no getting around it. It's the truth, and the best way of all.
However, the fence around the front yard and the gate to the back yard have announced their displeasure and are quitting as soon as we can find replacements. Dry rot has done a great job on them - problem is, we take the fence down, we have to find another anchor for the rain gutters up front. Oh, and replace the fence separating us from the neighbor. That keeps the dog in her yard. And so forth.
My rose garden looks fabboo - and the yards will look even better once they've gotten some attention with the new edger we got yesterday (two gift cards and $40) at Home Depot. Weeded the roses before breakfast, go me!
