Minor Annoyances -

It's not how many dirty dishes are in the sink, but how long they've been there. Oh, and how much food was left on them when they were left there. That's key.
Piles of clutter attract more clutter. Add a kitten who wants to climb to the top and the results are not nearly as amusing as they were the first time she tried to climb something taller than the scratching post.
If you can put everything that was on the desk into a laundry basket, and then not need to look for anything in it later? Can probably be pitched or go to long-term storage. Yup.
Being without a washing machine for multiple weeks is scary. Really scary.
And with four cats, you really need to vaccum the house at least once a week. When most of the house dust is cat hair, you ought to be able to get a clue.
And?
Any day I don't have to come home at lunch to do housework is a good day. That's not been much of this week. Or the last.
