Life is one long laundry list
May. 21st, 2003 01:06 pmThe general contractor wants to finish after the flooring contractor; gave him the number, they'll talk.
The electrical contractor finishes Friday.
The telecom wiring guy begins and finishes Sunday.
The painter, I think begins Monday. They're coordinating with the general.
Saturday, I rent a U-Haul and empty the storage rooms, and pick up my plants at Marian Kelly's. One of my orchids are blooming - go Marian. She could make stones grow, I swear it. I'm also planning to pick her up to spend the day with me Saturday and see the house.
Sunday...wiring. Jim works.
Monday, I hope to put a garden in, or be about ready to do so.

The shopping lists are flying round my head like golden snitches. Bird stuff, weed stuff, garden stuff, lawnmower stuff, heaven knows what else stuff.
Satellite install is Monday, right - somwhere in there, SBC has an engineering order to drop six pair. Megapath is going to deliver my router and we're going to self-install DSL - like tomorrow.
Somewhere in there, I have to go find my drawer pulls and knobs.
And reinstate my move-in order with NetGrocer.
Arg. Need to get thank-you gifts to loan officers. Arg. Arg. Arg.
