Wow, Friday already?

And welcome to payday. We made the house payment!

Taking three days for Fanime, then getting sick the week after killed Jim's paycheck. I think it was around 1/3 of the normal take. That and paying the contractor - we are so broke.

Think soup for two weeks broke.

Not that I'm complaining, mind - I'm listening to Dave Koz on 94.7 KMET this morning and he's noodling along with Anita Baker's "Rapture" - gotta love a jazz station with a saxophone player DJ! Sweet....

And the rest of the bills are paid - there's food in the house and a shitpot load of boxes to unpack. So we won't be bored unless we force ourselves.

But we won't be going out to the movies - not for a good bit. Not going to drive anywhere we don't have to.

The Indian programmers introduced him to bagpipe music today. Ed is from Flint, MI. He likes R & B and rap - listens to it on headphones at his desk when getting work done.

Ed does NOT like the bagpipes. However, he did do his best to get his mind around it - by adding his own bass/percussion line.

Boom, shakka, boom boom - you got it. I'll let you get your mind around it. He is so not Celtic. But then again, neither am I - and that's a story for another day.
