Indigestion off one bowl of Honeycomb sends me back to bed. Fall asleep again back to bed.

That's enough WTF - but no, there's more.

Spend a lovely afternoon at Walter's house (yes, my almost-boss is cooking for all of us on KONG, the Indonesian grill he bought) - it's definitely a pork-fat thing, because quail eggs, hard-boiled and wrapped in bacon are nummynummygoodgood grilled. So are bacon-wrapped basil. And gravid sardines are wonderful grilled with just a little kosher salt.

With beer. Mmmm. Beeeeer.

Since my all-in-one wallet/purse finally bit the big one this week, Jim thought it would be good to go get a replacement after the BBQ - which was fine. Mission accomplished.

However, getting to the car, I get a headache and realize that I haven't had enough water today. I have a headache. Folks, when I have a headache, I am sick.

I get cranky, get home, get the water and fall down dead asleep again at about 7:00 PM. Maybe earlier. And I sleep the whole night through.

Being okay for only six hours a day is really getting to suck.

Will have to wake Jim up to do yardwork in an hour or so.

Starting water now.

Let's hear it for counter number 637 -

That's where the counter marker was for the best, kick-ass dance scene in White Nights was.

It was the first movie I ever recorded off cable. I wore it out.

I am so going to miss Gregory Hines - who couldn't get enough work, in my book. I loved everything he did.

I am so going to miss him.

Let's see. I can get up and move around without my head spinning and aching.

Temperature - falling, currently 83 degrees.

I swear, this has never been an issue before. Then again, if I ever felt like this, I could turn the AC on and freeze my ball bearings off first. *thinks* Hmm. Long time since I didn't have an AC switch, come to think of it.

Jim wants to say we're getting old. I'm having a hard time with that one. It just doesn't fly.

Workdays, I have AC at work and come home. No problem.

Weekends, I wake and sleep in 80+ temps and it's a problem?

Or am I just going flat out until I hit walls again?

BTW, lots of water drank - got yardwork done and so far, no hint of indigestion - just headachey until I drink more water, and it fades back out again.

I don't know how Jim survives migraines. I just don't.
