On the home front - I've been away for four days straight, plowing through entries as quickly as I can - and summing up this weekend can be done in ten words:

I should have shut off the power at the circuit breaker. Nothing bad that happened this weekend would have succeeded without electricity.

There's more - and it's all me - but that's later. Much later.

How bad? How does sitting here wondering if anyone would ever come back sound?

I have to go to the store on the way home and fix dinner tonight. How did that happen? I haven't even eaten a decent meal today yet.

I swear, in five years, this past weekend will be hillarious. It'll take that long to get the sting out.
