I'm still losing weight. This is a shock - I'm not trying. At all. Eating ice cream before bedtime not trying. Ru?

Not a lot mind. But I'll take it.

Both John Ritter and Johnny Cash. John Ritter is likely sitting around saying WTF - and Johnny Cash is likely taking a deep sigh of relief. It is no fun dying of diabetic complications. No fun for decades. Give everybody my regards and tell them I'll see them later, guys.

Jim hasn't seen LJ in three days. I complain, saying "I've been writing some of my best shit this week!"

Gotta go to work. See ya.

Da Friday Five!

1. Is the name you have now the same name that's on your birth certificate? If not, what's changed?

*ROARS* Oh, hell no. I have two more names now. And I use all five with pride. You'd better believe it.

2. If you could change your name (first, middle and/or last), what would it be?

My brothers, sister and I have matching initials. DE Hutt can actually be anyone of six people now - parents thought it was cute. I might consider adding another (yes, ANOTHER one) name if I were to live in Asia - my name is pretty tough for them to get their mouths around.

3. Why were you named what you were? (Is there a story behind it? Who specifically was responsible for naming you?)

Uh, the initials matched my older brother and sister's. No joke. I am the only kid out of the four of us who is NOT named in any way, shape or form after anyone else in the family. Sis got Elizabeth for her middle name; I got Elaine. When our first niece was born and given the middle name of Elizabeth, there were 12 Elizabeths in the family, when the second niece was born, she was named Elizabeth. Her auntie calls her Pookie - so there. Matter of fact, everyone I know named Elizabeth gets called Pookie.

I think I was named for the hurricane that went through Dade County that year.

4. Are there any names you really hate or love? What are they and why?

Come up with something more interesting than Robert or John for your sons, please? Jim's folks call him Timothy (that's his middle name) - *shudder.* Like hell I will. No Katherines. No Denises. No Cindys. Ew.

Why? Boooooooring. That's why.

5. Is the analysis of your name at kabalarians.com / triggur.org / astroexpert accurate? How or how isn't it?

I dunno. You tell me. )

I really ought to take something off my interests list and put up "novety songs" - I'm such a sucker for them. You too? Here - because [livejournal.com profile] ninetales wuvs me and thought of me - Viagra in the Water.

Camille West. I may have to get that CD.

In other news, I plan to raise a small glass of the Suntory tonight for the Man in Black. I may not have liked him, but damn if I didn't respect him.

John Ritter? I've got to get [livejournal.com profile] passings up this weekend and then call his office and offer links to it and the Young Widows Group on Yahoo. I'm local. And experienced. *shakes head sadly* Damn.
