"Hello, Donna? Are you coming to work today?"

I checked the clock. 7:34 AM. WTF?

I assured the caller I was, and jumped into my clothes and sped off into some of the narstiest traffic I've had to deal with since I got here. This did not bode well for the day.

Unrepentant bastard software strikes again. Actually, it got in three good licks all in one night.

This is after spending my evening yesterday dealing with a flat tire. And turning a turkey carcass into soup fit to eat. Did both, but they're hardly glamourous events.

Thanksgiving is not over until Mom goes home Friday. I have at least one more tourist guide day to go - shh. I'm playing hooky to do it. Tomorrow is my flu shot - booyah, me.

Oh yeah - Christmas cards. I'm beginning to get them already. I need to sit down and dedicate some time to that project.

I need to make a list. Somewhere I won't lose it.

BTW, if you haven't seen the Lilo & Stich television series on the Disney Channel, take a peek. While I'm waiting for playing cards/buttons/something with all 625 Experiments, it's pretty damn cute for a television series. Experiment 177 is Tweety Scissorhands. Just so you know.

Experiment 625 is likely to show up on the Food Network with his own show.

I am soooo freaking brain dead.

I've decided I really like soup made out of squash or pumpkin - it's been totally wonderful the last six times I've had it, no matter where it was.

I was also given a case of canned pumpkin by the BIL for works for Nestle - that's the Libby's pumpkin, folks. Jim thinks pumpkin is evil and out to get him in the shorts. No, really.

Something tells me I have a lot of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with pumpkin soup for lunch in my future.

And now - I go back to work and try to remember where the door is.

Some really good stuff, care of [livejournal.com profile] tdj who got it from Scalzi:

So what if it isn't about the sex?

Gay marriage - why? If it's not about the sex?

Neat stuff. Like it lots.

I'm going to have to read this guy's blog more often.

Thanks -
