Gripes While U Wait

Thanks to some well-placed leads by theferrett, I am now more versed in pr0n than before.

*sigh*

Freak show, more like. I swear, nothing - nothing looked remotely normal - or appealing. And I'd wonder about any guy who thought it was, frankly. (I actually sprang one on Jim, just to see what he would do with it - I wasn't dissapointed. His eyes got as big as saucers before he blurted out "What the fuck did they do to themselves?! Holy shit!" He passed. Piercings, tats - okay. Make your boobs look like helium balloons - bad!)

johno has a much better take on the whole "getting hot and naked" theme - he likes going to Harbin and writing it up in such a fashion that nobody wouldn't want to give it a go.

Or feel ashamed of how they look. Or make comparisons.

Real people in real bodies. But then again, I've always liked him.

Journal is going dark for the next couple of days as we get what can pass for a break - two days in San Diego. Wild Animal Park on Sunday, Sea World on Monday.

And Priceline'd a hotel room for Sunday night - it's another Courtyard, and we hates the beds at Courtyard, but we'll take the featherbed and make it okay for one night.

Shoot, I couldn't book a Motel 6 with AAA for what I can get with Priceline....

Note to self: Check with mortgage company Tuesday re: tax bill received today. This is all supposed to be paid through the FHA escrow, what gives....

Those at conventions, hope you're having fun. *yawn*

I think the pool goes to browren - Ten bucks says they "catch" him at the end of October.

*shrug* I'd just like him caught, personally.

However, I think that until they plug this hole, we'll hear that he "got away" again -

Oh there are a lot of expatriates there - I have a co-worker who was one of them, once. Discussing Dubai has been the topic of conversation more than once - and while he looked fantastic in native dress last Halloween, I don't think I've ever seen him look more uncomfortable.

Something of a modern-day Casablanca....

I hear echoes of Richard Nixon - "Peace is at hand!" And it's not good.
