Hunkering down -
Jan. 9th, 2005 01:42 pmThere is little more snugglier than a really cold rain outside when you're inside with oden, a warm cup of tea, a good book and the knowledge that everything is right with your world. At least for the next few hours or so - you really don't want to push it.
REALLY. I'm burning the "thank you" incense right now.
The key words of the day are "old and busted" and "new hawtness." Pictures tomorrow when the old and busted comes home from the shop -
The Red Cross does not take auto donations. So I called my old friends at Children of the Night and donated the truck and station wagon.
Drove the new car this morning to breakfast and shopping. Nifty. VERY nifty.
Still glad to be home. Very glad to be home.
Still tired. Good sleeping weather we're having. Hot chocolate - hmm, didn't someone suggest that with Bailey's? I still have some sake leftover from last night.
But I can go out tonight if I want to once Jim goes to work. I can do that. I have the technology!
Tea is fine for now.
