Lulu users may enlist professional editing and packaging for their books, then sell them via Borders distribution channels.

I know I have at least one person on the FL who works for Lulu. I've always been shy of "vanity publishing" because in all honesty, I've read through slush piles. It HURT.

But if it was actually good enough to put in a Borders store. Wow.

Come on. You've got a book hiding somewhere in you - what if you only had the jump the hurdle of being literate, and well-written...and not SEXAY enough to catch a publisher's eye?

EK, if you wanted to publish that latest of yours...here's your channel. Just sayin'

The dates have been set for the next Festival of Books.

But the schedules aren't up yet - we're all to check back mid-March for that.

*lights the good stuff*
