yuki_onna has a new book out. Palimpsest - and I can't wait for mine to get here, natch - which is also on tour right now (and she's coming to Los Angeles catsonmars, and needs a venue) with s00j and just a whole lotta awesome going with.
The reviewers are just falling over themselves - with little surprise here. Cat's books are lyrical in a way that I don't see from anyone else. Things merge and blend with an asute eye to detail...that is as quickly discarded. This isn't the world you know. Assume nothing. Not even that shoes come in pairs. The words are rich, measured and concrete - to describe worlds that are anything but. Yummy, heady stuff.
