Why Twitter Stays
Aug. 20th, 2009 10:53 amYesterday, Larry King reported he was going to have Bill Cosby on his show. I tweeted Larry to tell Dr. Cosby he should tweet more often.
This morning, five tweets. (One wee tweet the first week of August, but essentially nothing all month.)
You don't have to run back and tell me you heard me, even to agree with me. If I wasn't full of tartar sauce - and you agreed with me - hey.
I'm a middle kid - I crave acknowledgement. I can live for two weeks on a compliment.
(And for the record, I completely agree with Bill Cosby. $5,000 for education is a pittance against what it takes to incarcerate someone - anywhere. Ditto long-term hospitalization for mental illness due to lack of early child intervention.)
Oh...damn. Five tweets out of a total of twenty-nine?
And Larry King has over a million people following him. I'm sure I wasn't the only one - but. Damn.
140 characters is all right with me.
