there’s a website where you put in two musicians/artists and it makes a playlist that slowly transitions from one musician’s style of music to the other’s
it’s really fun
lady gaga -> napalm death takes a weird detour through epic rap battles of history
I ran a couple of names through this but they pick really weird versions of the start and end artists – like, I ran Woody Guthrie to Smashmouth and they picked a Woodie Guthrie cover of a children’s song and Smashmouth’s cover of “Why Can’t We Be Friends”. Like. Get me from Pretty Boy Floyd to Walkin’ On The Sun at least.
I can’t wait to try out Barry Manilow to POLYSICS via Aerosmith.
