quu - with regards to fixing buggy code. I'm sooo there this week. Fucking C++ Harbinger/Peregrine/Inovis geeks.
Oh and here's to Special K, my least favorite trading partner of the week. Bite me. HARD. You suck dead rat through a straw. So there. *sticks out tongue*
Had a dream the other night where Jim and I were the Bad Guys fighting the government. Not to sound like some Matrix knockoff, but we were the ones in black leather jackets. I have one (it was Cliff's) and I'm wearing it - but Jim had one of his own.
And...dayim. Think he needs one for Christmas. *nods vigorously* And yes, we rode motorcycles, got in horrible trouble and enjoyed it immensely. I knew it was a dream because he was drinking beer and anyone who knows Jim is fully aware of what Jim does with a beer. He puts it down, backs away from it as if it were a live grenade and asks for a Coke.
I have slip-slidey, risky business floors. And yes, I dance on them a whole lot more than I have in many years. Think I might just have found my source of exercise that I can stand - now all I have to do is find a studio that will tolerate someone my age. I have the same trouble with DDR that I have with juggling - I overshoot my targets. I keep jumping off the pad - entirely. Bonk.
Going to go do yardwork. Gardening. Ah, the weekend.

Hehehe ... I've never had a beer in my life :-)
Yep, you don't know me...

Can you ask me it in C++? No really.
Just kidding.

Date: 2003-07-20 07:34 am (UTC)I work with the Navy - they have the same translator I have? And that's what they try to do with it? Oh, boy.
You heard the latest on Peregrine, right? Baby Enron?

Date: 2003-07-21 02:40 pm (UTC)My connection with the local project ended in January-February this year, but I continue to be pulled into it. Luckily I didn't do any RAD coding modifications, just a redesign using their tailoring tools. It's amazing what you can do in that program if you just tailor on top of the database application. I ended up building a new module that looks and feels seamless with the delivered application and adds a ton of inventory functionality.
Hope your project does well!
