Want? Get.
House lays the smackdown on the FCC. Clear Channel surrenders.
Have a cold bug and want your stuffie? How about a stuffie that IS a cold bug?
Aw, heck. Time for another webcam:

They would like some funding to keep the camera up - Click here.

Date: 2003-07-24 03:43 pm (UTC)I was getting really annoyed by Clear Channel's insistence to have all their radio stations in Phoenix (and there are a lot of them!) air their commercial blocks at the same time. Ugh. I hate having a car with no CD player ... O_o
Glad to hear that Congress is doing something about the FCC being ... well ... doinky.
Re: Yosemite
Mmm, that brings back memories of my first camping trip when I moved here from the Philippines. I was maybe eight or so, and we went to Yosemite and Sequoia/Kings Canyon. My wife has never been to Yosemite - I need to take her there some time.

Date: 2003-07-24 04:18 pm (UTC)And Yosemite's looking a bit murky there! Our weather's such, lately, that not only are we humid, we're trapping a lot more smog than usual. When it gets bad, Yosemite pulls in smog from California's central valley -- not to mention the tourist cars in Yosemite Valley itself.

Date: 2003-07-24 04:45 pm (UTC)At first I thought the picture was lovely and I was going to make a quick joke about how I can't get my webcam to stay in place ontop of my monitor, how did these guys get one to stay ontop of a mountain... then I saw your journal layout when I came to comment and I'm star struck.
Who did it? Did you do it? Who do I talk to about getting a similiar one - since I wouldn't want to rip off yours and I have zero feeling for this stuff so I wouldn't be able to change it without many mistakes??
And, don't worry, I won't come around later and claim you stole it from me. :D

Date: 2003-07-24 06:01 pm (UTC)Use the S2 format - only works for paid members, though.
Amazingly simple and very powerful. Go nuts.
