I open friends lists natively. Yes,...yes I do. Why? Well, if I am hosing other people's lists when I post something large and obnoxious like a webcam image, I'd like to know first - rather than have someone else yell at me about it.

One thing I found out this morning. I am missing posts.

Don't know if it is a fault with the number of journals I have on my friends list or not - and if the posts are locked to friends only, I shouldn't see them at all if I open that list natively, should I? But I looked for the little locked icon - no, that's not it.

Curious. Explain that to LJ support, I dare you.

But it's a good argument for developing filters. Bah.

Off to the TRW swap meet - will let you know if we find supreme geekage.

It's because kyburg has set up her journal with the new S2 layouts for paid users. You can switch to the S2 system here. The one both kyburg and I are using is the Components one. It comes with a few colour themes, which you can tweak to your liking. Very cool.

Opening a journal's friend's list natively -

You know how you can look at someone else's journal? Click the link "friends" while you are looking at their journal "natively" to see the friend's list of the journal you are looking at, complete with their settings.

Is that clear as mud?
