And I'm a girl! w00t! I've been an honorary girl since high school, anyway. Although some people think I am my own gender (you're not a boy! you're a drave!) or "smooth like Ken doll"...
Almost every female LJer I know, including myself, got the guy answer.
It seems to be linked with liking anime and comics... mbwun babbled something about studies and some kind of gender disassociative disorder that is very common amongst females who love anime and comics and such, but I was distracted by how she was also ordering me to make webbanners for www.animeswale.com so I didn't catch it all.
There *was* discussion on a chat room I frequent not so long ago about how almost everyone who loves 'quality comics' also loves da wimmen, even if they're wimmen themselves.

Gender disassociative disorder? Oh, this ought to be good.
I'm rare, even among anime fans. I can remember seeing anime in the theaters in the early 60's as a tot. I watched anime on television in black & white before I was 5. That's before 1965, guys. I've loved it all my life.
