Lunch today was office potluck. Complete with spicy Indian food and killer vanilla-bean cheesecake.

And the indigestion from hell. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm not having gall bladder issues.

Post largely for documentation purposes; already called the doctor to talk it over with him.

Sis had hers out last year - and I don't know of a female family member who didn't have surgery at some point.

Bah.

It's been a few hours and I'm feeling much better - but damn, that hurts enough to be a distraction.

I had gallstones about 12 years ago, but they were small and I took some medicine to dissolve them.

But yeah, I remember all the indigestion, and the pains in my side. Ow! My sympathies.

I've only just discovered the "joys" of indigestion. Mylanta, as I've remarked earlier, is just plain yucky. But at least it stays down.

I had mine cut out the old fashioned cut you wide open surgery back in '88, at age 25. Found out that Ameri Inds often have gall bladder problems because we aren't used to such high fat diets. Now the surgery is laproscopic and you are back to normal in a couple days. Do it!
