Something new has been added -

New kitty.

8 weeks old, string-bean boy kitty. Flame-point Siamese outbreed. He's just about white, but you can see where the orange is going to be - his tail has orange stripeys on it and he has some orange streaks between his blue eyes.

We already had Ai-chan, so we went for Hiroshi. Now we have both Peace and Love in the house.

He's still getting the hang on this place - the vet had been hand raising him and his sisters for the last four weeks after someone had brought them in, minus their mom. He was an easy choice - he's absolutely Mr. Mellow. HUGE purr.

Ai-chan is not on speaking terms with him yet - and she's pissed as hell at us.

The dog doesn't know anything about it yet.

And while I've introduced him to the litter box and the food and water - I'm not sure he's clear on it all yet.

That, a market trip, a farmer's market trip, housework, going to Lowe's and Home Depot, dinner at Marukai - it's been a busy day.

And if I can stay awake long enough to play Pokemon, I'll be doing well.

Hey Donna.. just a couple of things.. 1, I just bought some new Skechers.. hahaha.. but this time I opted for glittery ones.. muah .. they're navy blue because I figure the white ones will get dirty too fast.. the other ones you sent me are toast! They're getting HOLES in the SIDES! :) They walked a lot of miles, so they don't owe me anything.

2, just curious about how you got this style layout - I like that it has a calendar on the side, but I don't know how to apply it to my own journal .. let me know, eh??

I'm using the component format, and the bluetiful color scheme - and I further customized the placement of the calendar and list elements and added a graphics file as the background.

Play with it. You honestly can't screw it up.

oh...flame point...oh...my soul mate kitty hotspur was a flame point. He had a howl that could make zombies from the ancient dead and was large and grumpy. He is/was my very best friend and I miss him to this day.

Hiroshi definitely has the potential to look just like Hotspur - tho' he's just a little ratty stringbean right now.
