Ladies & Gentlemen....

I am so tired. There are two places I didn't get to in the house this weekend, and they are the back porch and the bathroom. I can hit those tomorrow after work.

But the back bedroom, the living room, the dining room and the bedroom got makeovers.

I have put my body into contortions yoga didn't make me do, putting chairs together from IKEA. I have sat on the floor most of the evening. That Bangles Greatest Hits album makes kickass putting-shit-together music.

I have moved furniture I really should have had help to move. Rarrr me. I have climbed up and down, up and down, hanging pictures. I have mopped the kitchen and dining room floor entirely for the first time.

I have found things I didn't remember I had. I found a lot of things I don't have a place for in the house yet - namely, sewing, crafts and beading supplies. Not to mention all the art supplies. Oh man.

Hiroshi should be nicknamed the flash - he's good at it. I had a long talk with Ai-chan this morning after we had a major hissy fit over what my hands smelled like.

The long and the short of the day? I've been too busy to post or think about posting much.

And IKEA in Carson is a idiot magnet. Just thought you should know.

It's not just Carson. The Burbank IKEA gets saturated with subcranial primates, too.
