Date: 2003-09-04 06:40 pm (UTC)It's a profound immunosuppressant. I'd consider it if I could afford it, but I'd be very careful about it. It's no mild drug.

Date: 2003-09-05 07:19 am (UTC)As I recall, if this is the one I heard about some years ago - it's as good as a cure. It leaves RA patients with the damage it did, but no more RA itself. And it's not forever - more like a course of chemotherapy.
It's a new drug - therefore, it's expensive. And that's just completely unfair.
