Parting shots - you have a democrat in office, likely the staff will have worked with Gray Davis and be therefore suspect. You have a republican in office, likely the staff worked with Pete Wilson, and ditto. It's what there is on the shelf, folks.

And if you think Maria Shriver-Schwarznegger looks strange, you didn't see her parents at her age - I remember. She's looks pretty good for the gene pool. She has daughters, too. Funny how they haven't shown up for camera ops. Pity she hasn't availed herself of the plastic surgeon her husband used. Multiple times. No shit.

It's time for politics to be *fun* again - heaven help us. Time to decide what you want and be prepared to dig your heels in for it.

Well, see, what gets to me is that Arnie's advisors even *before* he was elected were all Pete Wilson's folks. Pete Wilson backed him in the run for governor and did everything he could, including recommending advisors, etc.

Of course! Pete Wilson was a lot of things, but he was also very successful - and don't forget, this was the state that sent both Nixon and Reagan to the White House - both of them very successful Republicans.

And Democrats either distanced themselves from Gray Davis or defended him instead of admitting he was washed up.
