Date: 2003-10-23 06:28 pm (UTC)I have advice for women who want to find husbands. It wouldn't make a good book though, as it's very short.
1) Desperation is not attractive. No one likes being looked at like an hors d'oeuvre. (This goes for men ogling women, also.)
2) Get a Vibrator. And a dog. You can do without a husband. And you won't look so desperate, see #1.
Anyway, I didn't know that being over 35 and not married was an emergency. Guess I let all that silly feminism go to my head.

Maybe I should send a couple of these to my mother, she's 53 and all she wants besides employment (which she's got for now) is a husband...and she's pulling the religious stuff along the lines of "the bible says a woman's not complete until she's got a husband". I think it's bullshit, personally, but who am I to judge?
