Lessee.
Diane was going to have her first post-op checkup at 9:00 AM this morning.
It's after 3:00 PM and I haven't heard a peep.
Tried calling the house. Nobody home...or they're screening calls.
POSSIBLE SCENARIOS:
1) If something really bad happened, I think I might have heard by now - or they're still dealing with it.
2) Everything is peachy-keen and they're screening calls.
If I give a flying fuck either way, they'll stare at me like a couple of cows and wonder why I give a damn.
SOLUTION:
3) Drop it and pretend I don't give a damn.

Oh, don't get me wrong - I could call the hospital/clinic myself and find out for myself. Pretty lame reason for being pushy, don't you think?
Not like anything is life threatening.
