24/7 heartburn and everything on my mind. This weekend is IT. Get the house ready to sell. Or I swear, I'll pull the plug on the entire thing. Enough already.

Finances in the toliet. Work busy as well, and getting to work after 9:00 on a regular basis is not helping

That said --

Finally saw a production of Phantom of the Opera. Well, you can cross that off my list. I done it now.

I'm sure a lot of you went gaga over this in high school. I went gaga over A Chorus Line in high school. And I think that show served me better for the experience. Phantom?

Goth Overload. Really. Goth Fucking Overload.

Beautiful Girl has incredible things happen to her, gets to have two guys in love with her and gets to make them both happy. All she has to do is sing her pretty little head off for nearly three hours.

That, and not be upstaged by the finest stagework this side of Fantasmic. Best use of pyrotechnics indoors I've ever seen.

Costumes sufficiently ornate and gaudy. It's opera. Deal with it.

God, I wish I could have made out what they were singing. It was a total muddle.

I do believe we had a better man playing Phantom than Michael Crawford.

And we got home at 11:30 PM.

It was not a relaxing experience, unfortunately. First off, when you leave work at 4:00 in the afternoon and hope you can get someplace less than 30 miles away in four hours, you wonder what the hell is wrong with this picture.

We got there with five minutes to spare.

I got the remaining half of a sub sandwich (thanks,Love) but I ended up with heartburn throughout the show. Only thing to help was lukewarm water fountain water. Oh, well.

And Jim is getting fed up with me as a passenger. True, our driving styles are very different in one regard - he sees a stupid idiot and tries to pass him. Stupid idiot is usually driving faster than us in an SUV with more engine and newer transmission. My tactic is to fall back and let him get away from me instead.

Pretty Mars vs. Venus, neh?

However, when I see a car coming over to cut us off and I feel the car accelerating instead of braking...yeah, I yelp.

I'll just drive from now on if I have to go somewhere. Jim can play with his GameBoy and be just as happy.

Mom called this morning and said I sounded like I had mental rollerskates on.

I just can't wait to have some time where I don't have to be doing something with every spare minute.
