Toby at Dog Park

Sunday we took the aussies to dog park and met Toby a 5 month old Cairn, we fell in love with each other immediatly. Bill was NOT amused. Toby being a Cairn was totally prepared to leave his owners behind and start a new life with his new wild aussie dog friends. Bill was NOT amused. Toby's owner kept calling for him and he continued to ignore him, I informed Bill that this breed is suppose to be more stubborn then a beagle. Bill was not amused.

I was informed that the next dog is HIS choice and HIS choice will be a beagle. Let us never learn from our mistakes.

Hee. My hubby has some input as to what kind of dog we'll get, when we move into a more dog-friendly house, but the final decision is mine, because I'm the DogPerson, and he's the Cat Lady. I figure we're most likely going to get an aussie shepherd mix. Small enough not to intimidate the hubby, big enough for a 1-yr old boy to play with, and independent enough not to take any guff from said 1 yr old.

And I've had an aussie shepherd before, and he was an absolute sweetiemutt.
