I spent the entire day at the DMV. If I can be civil after that, anyone can.

I am. So. Fekking. Tired.

And I have to go back tomorrow for one more test.

Ah, the commercial driver's license.

My blood pressure today was 112/80. Go me!

I learned a great way this summer to get a DMV clerk to move your paperwork quickly.

Ream some other CSR up one side and down the other on the phone, when done, turn and sweetly say: "I'm sorry you had to hear that, but they been dragging their feet and not coming through on several promises." The DMV CSR gave me a very intent look, then hustled off to get my paperwork approved.
