Welcome to the holidays. Take everything you normally deal with the rest of the year - good, bad, neutral - plop it into a blender and buzz. The difference with this blender, though, is that it just concentrates everything down and throws it at you all at once.

Jim called me from work this morning - and I knew the moment he heard my voice, something was up. "People are having all kinds of relationship #!@#$! here today." Aw, honey. It's the holidays - and that's sad.

"I just want to let you know that I love you. Just in case. And how happy I am that you're in my life."

You ask how you know. THIS is how you know. Other people are having trouble because they can't say those words. And he calls me just to say them. Easily, without prompting.

I turned into a little mooshpile and then warned him how mean I was going to be tonight when we have to clean house. MEAN OLD LADY. MEAN. VERY MEAN. RaaarRGH!

Friday looks like a trip to San Juan Capistrano; Saturday is Disneyland - Sunday, I begin the Christmas cards. And maybe some other foo-foo fun I can think up.

Maybe I'll take the plunge and do one of those phone blog thingies. I'll write something down and not ramble too much.
