So, I just paid bills -

I could have put another 8' table in the dining room and seated another 10 people. It would have been cozy, but it could have been done.

All in all, mission accomplished. Tomorrow, I go to Disneyland.

Today, we went to the Redondo Beach Pier with Mom; I got to open an oyster for less than the price of a hamburger and pulled out a black pearl. A nice one - this one has the niftiest green patina with a hint of rose. VERY cheap. Like less than $10 cheap. Will have to get with ceolyn's Dad to figure out what to set it in.

Also took a speedboat ride - another $10 thrill - very cool, got out under an open sky for a change. BLUE water - pretty skies - dolphins, sea lions, at least five types of sea birds, plus sparrows. Seafood lunch. All good.

Still tired. But happy. Need beer. Still considering phone post.

Damn that's lucky. Keep that thing secure. Besides being pretty, black pearls are a nice heirloom/investment as my mother, the gemologist, repeatedly likes to point out.
