Wishful thinking?
Jun. 29th, 2004 07:52 am ..These numbers will not change. They are based on individual choices made--aggregated nationally--as long as 30 years ago. Look inside these numbers at where the political impact is felt most. Do Democrats realize that millions of Missing Voters--due to the abortion policies they advocate--gave George W. Bush the margin of victory in 2000?
Yanno, it's as if they haven't remembered that abortions did not begin with Roe v. Wade.
As if those days were less lethal.
And most of the folks in favor of being able to choose were the victims of parents who didn't. Who came from families with too many children. Too little parent to go around. That's putting it mildly, and that's intentional.
Yes, I'd have to say I've acquired a lot of my mother's opinions and political beliefs. Mom's an old-school Republican. In these times, it makes better sense with those sensibilities to be Green Party (and eff-U Ralph Nader). I think the older brother who works in education is a Democrat. Sis, I doubt would be anything as socially inferior as a Democrat - but I doubt she'd be willing to admit to being a Republican these days. So - *sniff sniff* - wrong, yanno? Younger brother? I'll have to ask. If it came up something whack like Natural Law, I wouldn't be surprised.
Suuuuuure.
And no, I didn't rush right out to see F:9/11. I'm not that fond of Michael Moore. Honest.
