There is nothing quite like the sound of power tools in the morning. Add lawnmovers, leaf blowers and the gardeners yelling at the neighbor in Spanish and the neighbor answering in Tag, and you have my morning.

Krazee Grill is across the street from IKEA. How cool can that be? Yeah, we got dinner there last night and it is definitely a keeper. Jim had a cheesesteak sandwich and crunch roll, and I had a teriyaki beef bento. That I could have shared with a family of five - holy cow.

I don't think they expected me to understand what the staff was saying to each other in Japanese, though. Think I'll wig them out next time. Heh.

I have more hot dog and hamburger buns than any reasonable person should. I'm thinking bread pudding.

Jim is on target for another eventful day - he gets his individual interview today for the foster parent program, and the repairman comes out to fix the washing machine.

Me, I get to go ride the wild software again - and I do believe the bitchsmacking gloves will go on today. I do believe it's true. *nods firmly*

I also think I'll be bringing out the wool blanket for the bed tonight - it's time.

You know, treating myself to a Starbucks run this morning can only be for the good.
