Switching insurance carriers for life insurance (cheaper, more coverage) - and of course, we're both over forty, so we both have to provide health information in the form of an exam.

We were visited by a very nice vampire last night. Who also took measurements.

165 lbs. BP? 116/70. I was playing around with the Sims when he showed up. The weight loss is bupkis - but the BP?

Gaming reduces BP. Whaddaya know.

Oh, and body? The moment I decide to get more exercise is not your cue to get sick. Mean it. No love.

..

They discharged Mom from the hospital yesterday, after her last course of Vancomycin, neph tube still in place. No bathing for two weeks, and she's going to need VNA support until she sees her doctor again to resolve that thing. At least, I hope there's a plan to resolve that thing.

*rolls eyes* And Sis is now going to Texas. I think she said Austin - but I'm almost certain it's Dallas, then to Houston...her BIL has family there. She'll be gone for a week -

So help me, if shit comes down while she's gone, someone gets to explain to me why a little old lady with one kidney has to be discharged with neph drains still in place and no follow-up appointments made. Probably in court. No, I'm not pleased with this, but nobody is asking me - as I've been saying.

I'll call her at home today - still can't visit, still sick.

But I sure as hell can go to work, can't I? *grins* Yesterday was my five-year anniversary - I brought lots of breakfast goodies, and thanked everyone I worked with.

First time. And no sign of stopping now!
