I'm able to sleep for about four hours right now - and still waking up not knowing where I am. Yesterday, it took a good five minutes to realize the mini-blinds in the bedroom were not shogi screens and I was really in my own home and not another Japanese hotel.
The fact my house is scarily Japanese without ever having been there before I decorated it doesn't help.
*cough* *blow* Repeat.
Kitty lurve all over the place. Aichan is sleeping at Jim's feet (envy him right now - he's had no trouble falling asleep or getting long stints at it), Hiroshi is a big apricot puddle at mine right now. So heavy he can pull me out of bed at night if I try to pick him up without counterbalancing, and you have to use both hands.
Have to find a place where a S-video cable will get to the television set so I can watch the four hours of tape we shot last week.
Biggest problem with catching this cold is the fatigue. I literally don't have the energy to do anything. We ordered pizza in last night for dinner and that should tell you how tired I was that I suggested it.
Expect random entries on Japan. We'll start with the fact that there were bomb squad responses at the American Airlines terminals in both Narita and Los Angeles while we were there. We took pictures, of course. Expect compare and contrast write ups.
And now I go get ready for work. Hmm. *checks* Think I might have lost three pounds last week.
*yawn* *pop* Oh this is going to be fun....
