Was wondering if this was going to remind me of something. It did.

[livejournal.com profile] silverkun, do you remember Dr. Angerman? Does this look like him or what?

For those of you who can actually make use of this information, Dr. Angerman was the orthopedic surgeon who did both of Cliff's amputations, one below the knee, and then had to follow up with the AKA on his right leg. He hated doing both surgeries. After the first one, he looked so sad I couldn't help hugging him right there and then after he came out of surgery to tell me how things went.

He also teamed up with the infectious specialist, Dr. Zachovsky (sp!) before the AKA when Cliff wanted to make sure the AKA was the last surgery. ("You ever hear of one of these going bad?" "Naaaa-naaa. You ever hear about one of these going bad?" "Naaaa-naaa. You?" "Naaa-naaa. You?" They did that for five minutes, I swear it.)

He's also a fine orthopedist for what ails you. When I biffed my foot up, I saw him for it and while he put me on crutches for six weeks, I was very well cared for. He's a crusty old fellow, but I adore him. He practices at Cedars-Sinai in West Los Angeles. You need a good one, look him up and mention my name.

*cackles* And I called his office and told him. He asked me to send a copy of it.

He's doing nothing but workman's comp cases these days - I can't say I blame him. Those guys almost always get better, yanno?
