No, not short stories - they were not structured like short stories (except for one, which pushed it). No, these read like overviews of larger works, and as such? Largely disappointing. I like a certain amount of prose with my dialog, and these works are all talktalktalk talksomemoreplxkthx. The subject matter of course, is gender identity and what happens when you have to switch - by choice, by accident or by design. Some bump and thump, so not suitable for the under 18 crowd (and they'd be bored with what there was anyway).
