The programmers and I have tea every morning and afternoon - we find it necessary to take the break, and STOP WORKING for the fifteen or so minutes, and socialize on other matters BESIDES WORK AAAAGH.
However, work is never far away. Case in point: we we discussing treadmills this morning, and folks in the department who use them.
(I should mention the whole department is on a weight-loss kick, at least it seems - everything BUT actually eating less. Name it. Atkins, fruit-purges, yadda.)
Person using the treadmill had to stop using it - seems he was getting neck pains. And of course, why would someone running get neck pains without, you know, pain in the legs or something.
Since the treadmill in question was at the gym, the answer was obvious.
He had a background process running.
