Ah, the long lunch hour. Today, I was able to pick up the CSA box (it has the FIRST zucchini squash of the season, plus strawberries and leeks and OMG salad greens this week), take it home and put it away - find out our federal return will be delivered unto the bank account Friday, changed the billing on two more autobills to the new Bank of the West account (anyone want a REALLY good bank?), receive a W00t by Federal Express...then quibble with WW over the continued billing of my monthly pass after making lifetime in February.

But it's April, you say. Why yes, yes it is.

And I've gotten billed the last two months, regardless.

So. I've managed to reduce the account to eTools only - and change the credit card - but to get a refund? UH. The guy described something so convoluted and repulsive, I passed. Just stop billing the entire monthly pass - that's all I ask.

If I don't use the eTools more than one or twice in the next month, it's hasta for the whole works. Enough already.

Pet the kitties, note it's 80 degrees out and gorgeous, leave the jacket at home and head back to the office.

Tonight is Curry House in Little Tokyo, for the last of the Customer Appreciation Days - the company adds scratchers to your bill when they bring it by. So far, the only winner has been [livejournal.com profile] caitlin with a $20 Gift Card, but every card is thrown into a bin for a drawing for 3 really fucking huge plasma screen televisions. The running joke right now is if we won one, we won't have a wall big enough to hang it.

No wall space, you say? Not even for a really GOOD television? Why, yes. All of my walls are covered with one of three things: Bookcases, windows and dressers. The one wall with an entertainment unit on it has a space taken up with the largest television that will fit in it - 42", I think it is. The old, non-flat kind.

We'd raffle the thing off for adoption expenses, if we won it.

I've got more stuff to toss over at [livejournal.com profile] simsdesoleil this week - just when I thought I'd gotten a handle on just what people thought needed to be customized, I get tossed a whole new set of - mm - things. I just rock back on my heels, and remain pleasantly amazed at a game that allows such customization - encouraged from the get-go.

And people continue to convince me there's a lot more out there than what I know about them.
