I Need A Home

Talked to my electrician friend Cedric yesterday - his family has a set of income properies (read=apartments for rent), and he is taking care of this pretty girl after the death of her owner. You can see by the background that she is currently living in an empty apartment and they are doing rennovations around her.

Cedric says she is very friendly. He's spending a lot of time over there playing with her, and so is the tennant upstairs. But she needs her own people - her owner was killed in a pedestrian vs. SUV TIA.

Anyone want a wonderful cat?

awwww. I wish I could. :( I want a cat so bad... but I'm not home enough that it's really unfair to the cat. My room mate has a cat, and so I play with it, and atleast between the three of us, the one cat gets some attention.

She's a beautiful girl, she looks so friendly. And to be left alone after her owner dying like that.....*sigh* it breaks my heart.

I just asked Josef.....he said no :( He wants to meet a kitty before adopting.

I'd personally take her in a heartbeat. She's beautiful, her story is so sad and she looks *so* sweet from the photo.

I will pass the info along, though...maybe someone closer will come and save her.

Oh! She's beautiful! I love calico kitties, though some can be pretty antisocial. It's nice to see that she's friendly. Too bad I'm way here in Indiana... and lord_keeper would likely say no anyhow.

If she can get to Dallas, Texas, I would give her to my dear friend and neighbor, who I know is receptive to adopting a cat. She just lost her much loved calico. {Bizarre blood clot thing. It really broke everyone's heart} And if for some reason that didn't work out, I'd keep her myself, but I'm pretty sure it would or I wouldn't be putting the idea forward.

What we could do is find a private plane pilot up in your area who is making a run to Dallas who would let you or Cedric put her in a carrier, and I'd meet the plane at whatever local airport he flew to.

Think on this and we'll talk more about it.

What a sweetie! I'd love to take her in, but I'm all the way in Colorado, and the two cats I have already still fight. (My girl is verrrrry territorial.) So no more cats for me. :-(

I hope she finds a home soon. Too bad about the owner.

I'm allergic to some cats but mainly long hair and sometimes not even them. I love cats so much. And dogs.
