Did that once, then whan Damn Sam was about 6 weeks old, I was told you couldn't raise orphan kittens. Oh, well. Feedings every 2 hours, making formula,
then Sam had such serious mental problems. He thought his mother was a red lace nightgown, and he was horribly nearsighted.

I did it once too, and the cat turned out fine. Of course he hated formula, but the vet said try goat's milk, which he inhaled by the buttload. We kept him for 10 weeks and then Charlie's allergies kicked in so we found him a home with a friend. Last time we saw him before she moved out of town he weighed 15 pounds and bullied every cat in the neighborhood.
