Yes, I knew I'd fall hard for Twitter - hence, my reluctance to take it up. *shakes fist at Hank* No chance of WoW anytime soon, guys. I know better.

Kirstie Alley is on Twitter, too. OMG, she's hysterical - in the most classic of the happy ass dance LJ ways. You think she's been lurking here, practicing?

Brent Spiner has to get the nod this week for writing something half radio play/half novella by Burma Shave signs...delightfully puckish, full of fourth walls and had me laughing out loud at times. He stays.

Scott Bakula tapped the mike and walked away. Bill Cosby writes as well as you might imagine - but so help me, if he's looking for 'fans' in Torrance anytime soon, I'm taking my uchiwa from the last Tofu Festival and writing his name on one before I hand it to him. Maybe the one from the ecchi computer game company from the last AX. He's in Cohasset, MA on the 8th.

Buzz Aldrin is coming to my Borders - MY Borders, just down the street! - Saturday. What do I bring him? (Can't be edible. Think about it. Would you eat something some total stranger put in front of you? Riiight.) Will I actually be there? Not so much. I'm kid wrangling so Jim can have a moment. The queues will be forming RIGHT at naptime, and that's inviolate. If he's not done after Xander wakes up, okay - we'll go down. But yeah - Buzz Aldrin. *wriggles* Wish I had a Jayne hat handy. Hrm. Maybe a copy of the first Patlabor movie on DVD. "Hill Street Blues with BEEEG robots."

If I get curious, I check. I am rarely dissapointed.

In other news, the kid's daycare has ownership of more My Little Pony ponies than I've ever seen, even in the toystore. Think sterlite bins - multiple multiple - FULL. They even have some of those ghetto poinies McDonald's was giving out last Christmas season.

It's also a center like I'd like to have if I ran a daycare center - a free-standing building with all the comforts of home, just not the bedrooms. It has a good-sized kitchen, lots of large rooms (including one that looks like it's where the kids nap, and that's about it), a dedicated nursery for babies (SO CUTE), a nifty playground and a grassy backyard area. It has its own mascots (a turtle named Ninja, a frog named Tarzan...and they utilize the butterfly from catepillar kits constantly!)

I'll throw it up - right now, I'm as healthy as I can remember being. Let the clock start now (even though I have an appointment Friday for a recheck. Watch me have my mother's asthma. Watch.)
