Only 450 entries over the weekend - yes, posting on LJ is definitely slowing down. It's not just me. What - 650 is more like it and yes, I just got through it. Good morning.
Tried to donate blood Saturday but was deferred by my old nemesis, anemia. 10.6 is not good enough to donate, you gotta be 12.5 or higher. The surprising thought is I never notice. Never, ever, ever. Do I get tired? Well, if I stop long enough, I sleep - that's for sure. Making a better effort to take the daily vitamin, but the damn thing is a horse pill. Feh.
I am sick of McDonald's and if my kid will eat Curry House for Sunday lunch after chuch, who am I to argue? Plus, they have the best toys. Much fun was had with a small green airplane with traction drive that held a charge long enough for him to launch it at me and allow me to send it right back to him without recharging the drive. Such fierce faces he made at me - the giggles were worth the price of admission. Which is about double what McDonald's wants for a lunch, but oh well.
Really, I'd had it. I was either going to end up at Souplantation or Curry House - if I had to put kid on my shoulders through the queue at Souplantation. The day Saturday had a ton of cookies, cotton candy and very little FOOD in it - but a lot of fun at the preschool carnival - so I was motivated. The payoff was that kid had a good time, so did I and ATE LIKE A KID INTERESTED IN FOOD. Win. There was also little fight going down for nap - and the duration is definitely shortening. Win twice.
Dinner was oven-baked friend chicken, huge mutant biscuits and baked potatoes. Cupcakes for dessert and I made enough to pack lunches this week. Maybe even make some breakfast sandwiches to boot.
But when kid wakes up at 2:30 AM, I don't get up in time to cook breakfast. Sowwy. Interrupted sleep is interrupted. *o_0* I think I know the cause - we've reintroduced superheroes to the viewing mix, including Ultraman - which was a huge favorite of his before placement. If it's shaking up some memories, maybe even something in dreams, I wouldn't be surprised. But being brought to bed with us, finding Daddy's shoulder and all did the trick - we just didn't wake up on time. Could still use some more coffee.
For those of you following along at home - my Sims 2 game how has 2,430 Sims in it. I think a new install has less than 350. You remember all the names. G'head. I'm playing with four baby name books next to the computer, just to keep from naming them Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail.
And Crispin Freeman is voicing Captain America. This is me smirking in the corner, enjoying the view.
