No, it doesn't, and it isn't. The International Criminal Court is just fine and good when we've got someone we'd like them to prosecute, but when it turns its sights on us, it's a kangaroo court. Uh huh.

Basically, this vote says the price of international aid is allowing American soldiers to do whatever they want, wherever they want, disregard the rules of war and the Geneva Convention. Given the Iraqi prison scandal, it's hardly beyond the realm of possibility that our soldiers may commit acts of barbarism. Since when does America get to play by one set of rules while defining another set for the rest of the world?

Its ok, America and the US forces are good and noble and just and therefore will never do anything ever that might bring them in front of a court for war crimes of any kind, so they can continue to view the UN and various bodies of same as annoying little flies to be swatted.
