Every time I think of what would be involved in doing a video with a computer, my fingers itch for the Grass Valley switcher I learned to edit on. Not fair. You have a lot of control using the computer, but you could do it all real time with the switcher - and just hit a button to get that wipe, the dissolve or any number of things. Instantly.
*grumps* Got up early this morning to go have breakfast with Mom in Diamond Bar. And the topic of conversation was, of course, all this stuff we're doing with DCFS with classes and the like - and from Mom, a plateful of mixed messages. Why now? And of course, the dire warning of "there's a whole lot more to being a parent than love and money." Duh, anyone?
Parents. *rolls eyes* Sheesh. You can't spank 'em and you can't tie 'em to a tree.
Hope everyone is having fun. Me? I have laundry, dishes, tomatoes to put up for freezing and all the other house things that need doing on a weekly basis or we'll be in default on the Normal Adult Housekeeping Standard.
Tomorrow, I repay a favor and help the Hartman's move. Please, God. Don't let me kill anyone tomorrow.
